The Unicorn is a 17th Century village Freehouse, serving memorable food and great beers and wines with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Relax and enjoy a great, British experience in our delightful garden or next to our roaring log fires.

The Unicorn has recently been awarded two AA Rosettes. The award is in recognition of The Unicorn’s outstanding food, prepared with care and skill and thus achieving standards that stand out in the local area. Manager Tim Harwood enthused “Only 10% of restaurants nationwide are of a standard that is worthy of One Rosette or more, so to receive Two Rosettes puts us in the top 800 places to eat in the UK and the only local pub/restaurant with two within a 20 mile radius of Cublington. It is a huge achievement for our team and we aim to build on this to make The Unicorn the number one choice of places to eat in our area for customers.
The long-established Rosette scheme recognises successful cooking at different levels across the UK. Success or failure in achieving Rosettes is based on one or more visits by an AA inspector to a hotel or restaurant.
