THE UNICORN at Cublington

Pub of the year

The Unicorn always has something special going on. There's live music every second Tuesday and second Friday. Looking forward to the Bank Holiday Weekend? So are we. The garden's looking lovely and Saturday BBQs start on the 25th May. In June we launch our new Summer menu and sharing platters.

Try the Unicorn garden - It'll be well worth a visit - We hope to see you soon.

The Unicorn has been officially crowned as the Overall Winner in the Aylesbury Vale Village Pub of the Year Competition 2012!

We are very proud of winning this accolade for the second time in 4 years, and it is a testament to the entire Unicorn team who have worked so hard to make it a real destination pub in terms of the stunning food served, the relaxed friendly atmosphere and the charming surroundings.

Come and see for yourself - we're sure you'll like it!

The Unicorn is a 17th Century village Freehouse, serving truly memorable food and great beers and wines in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Relax and enjoy a great, British experience in our delightful garden or next to our roaring log fires.

Open every day from 10.30am for coffee, Midday for lunch, 3pm for afternoon tea and evening meals everyday from 6.30pm. We look forward to welcoming you at The Unicorn soon, whatever the occasion.

See what's on.

The Unicorn are delighted to have been awarded 2 AA Rosettes for three consecutive years, a reflection on our hard working and creative chefs! The award is in recognition of The Unicorn’s outstanding food, prepared with care and skill and thus achieving standards that stand out in the local area. Manager Tim Harwood enthused “Only 10% of restaurants nationwide are of a standard that is worthy of One Rosette or more, so to receive Two Rosettes puts us in the top 800 places to eat in the UK and the only local pub/restaurant with two within a 20 mile radius of Cublington. It is a huge achievement for our team and we aim to build on this to make The Unicorn the number one choice of places to eat in our area for customers.

The long-established Rosette scheme recognises successful cooking at different levels across the UK. Success or failure in achieving Rosettes is based on one or more visits by an AA inspector to a hotel or restaurant.
